Interactive video performance created in collaboration with Danilo Rea, Alex Braga and Roma Tre University. The show combines piano improvisation with artificial intelligence, electronic music and interactive video projections. In the most dire of possible futures, will new forms of artificial intelligence really replace humans? A-Mint fits into the dialogue between machine and man: this virtual presence is entrusted with the task of learning Danilo Rea’s piano improvisation methods, sending the notes in the form of impulses to Braga who provides the digital orchestration, while Paolo Scoppola projects images behind the musicians describing the dialogue between the human and artificial minds.
