There is a veil in front of me and I want to cross it.
I want to see myself.
Boll is a reflection on the theme of the relationship between the inner and outer worlds. Inside is I, the individual. Outside is them, the multitude of things, people and ideas. The artist imagines these worlds separated by an invisible membrane and focuses his attention on the act of crossing it, activating an empathic dimension. Getting in and out of the social dimension is an everyday activity, which we can experience with joy, pain or apathy. Boll is a collective performance, often performed in squares, a convivial moment in which interaction guides the psyche to know itself.
