Ice Utopia
Interactive dance performance for three dancers in dialogue with generative visual environments, poetically exploring the impact of climate change — 2024
Every time we are faced with images or news about the disappearance of glaciers on our planet, we experience a physical impact that goes beyond rational thought. The interactive dance performance ICE – UTOPIA is an empathetic exploration of the glacier as a vanishing body: its slow yet constant movement, its sound, its tactile nature, its endless shades of color. At the heart of the project is the audience, whom Valentina Moar, Paolo Scoppola, and Bojan Vuletic guide on an immersive journey of images, sounds, and interactive choreography.
